Simply stated, finance is all about capital, encompassing the processes of obtaining, managing, preserving, utilising and growing this seemingly scarce resource - in all its forms.

Throughout history, finance has been an integral part of our civilization. Likewise, today it continues to exert its influence over all facets of our society, and whether on a small or large scale, serving different functions or utilities, it continues to shape our behaviors, decisions and opportunities. 

There is no escaping the pervasive nature of finance; it meets us at each corner and at every turn. In fact, one might argue that finance is fundamentally intertwined with our very existence, reflecting our values, priorities, and aspirations.

Finance is all around us and all about us. We could even say that it IS us!


why our courses?

Despite its relevance, many seem to shy away from engaging with finance, considering it overly complex, dry, inaccessible, even mysterious. Consequently, we witness a poor level of financial literacy not only in the general population but also, surprisingly, among academic circles. 

To challenge this shortcoming, and to demonstrate that finance can be readily accessible to all those who seek to understand it, we have made it our mission to develop an innovative e-learning program aimed at demystifying this fascinating field of knowledge.

To put finance and all its closely-related topics properly in the spotlight, we use a methodology grounded in four core principles we feel are key to optimal learning: Conceptualisation; visualisation; simulation; and analysis.

We weave these principles into our carefully-crafted warm up math "games", engaging and animated videos, interactive Excel workbooks and diverse quiz types to reinforce and cement each topic for the learner.
